SingPlayer Mobile has approved by Sling Media to the App Store. iPhone and iPod Touch user can access their television content including local or cable channels, video on demand, pay per view, and much more. The service streams video over Wi-Fi when available, or “acceptably well” over 3G if Apple approves the technology.
In addition, SlingPlayer also can be used to control home digital video recorders (DVR) to schedule recordings or watch stored content, with full controls for pause, rewind and fast forward. But, it requires a Slingbox device attached to the home television system.
