Panasonic has launched three new products for their compact range camera, DMC FS12, DMC FS62, and DMC FS42. Third camera from Panasonic is a member of Lumix FS Series family.

DMC-FS12 has a 12.1 megapixel resolution to hold a battery and charger that is able to survive 330 images. Lenses used in this camera is F2.8 LUMIX DC VARIO has the ability to zoom up to 4x. Pictures or video taken using this camera can be displayed on the LCD screen of 2.7 inches. DMC-FS12 is also equipped with the Face Detection feature, which can recognize the face of the object.

While for the DMC-FS62 camera has up to 10.1 megapixel resolution and durability of batteries that are able to survive the image to 370 images. This camera uses the lens F2.8 Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT who has the ability to 4x optical zoom (up hinggal 7.1x in 3 megapixel recording with the Extra Optical Zoom). This camera is also equipped with a feature Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection with Red-eye Correction. Shots can also be viewed on the 2.5-inch LCD screen.

DMC-FS42 has a feature that is not much different from the DMC-FS62. These two products together have a 10.1 megapixel resolution, but on different battery endurance (able to take the picture to 390 pictures). Lenses used FS42 also different, namely F2.8 LUMIX DC VARIO which also has the ability to 4x optical zoom.
